My name is Valentina Guerinoni, creator and founder of ValGo Design. I was born in Bergamo, Italy, into a family deeply rooted in artistic tradition and craftsmanship. I am a descendant of the renowned sculptor and stone cutter Luigi Guerinoni, artistically known as Guerinú, as well as artists Giuseppe Guerinoni and Claudio Guerinoni d’Averara. Growing up surrounded by art, creativity was never a separate choice, it was part of everyday life. Carrying the Guerinoni name means continuing a legacy of craftsmanship, artistic expression, and dedication to creating with purpose. This heritage naturally shaped my creative identity and laid the foundation for my future path as an artist and designer.
Driven by curiosity and a desire to explore beyond Italy, I began developing my passion for fashion and visual storytelling at an early age. My journey led me internationally, where travel became an essential part of my creative growth. During my junior year of college, I lived in Singapore, experiencing a dynamic cultural environment that broadened my artistic perspective. Later, I moved to Brighton (UK), where I studied Art & Design, specialising in Fashion and Textile Design. I eventually returned to Italy to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Styling & Visual Merchandising at Istituto Marangoni in Milan, where I refined my visual language and developed a strong understanding of aesthetics, branding, and creative direction. These international experiences continue to influence my artistic vision, blending European heritage with global inspiration.
After several years working within the creative side of the fashion industry, life took an unexpected turn and introduced me to the world of aviation. Today, my life exists at the intersection of two passions: flying and art & design. This dual lifestyle inspired me to officially establish ValGo Design, transforming my artistic practice into a registered business and allowing my work to reach a broader audience internationally. Travel continues to play a central role in my creative process, constantly inspiring new ideas, perspectives, and artistic narratives drawn from cultures and experiences around the world.
